Vintage Heavy Red & White China Diner Sugar Bowl With Brass Lid. Several Repaired Cracks..But I have had & used this sugar bowl for almost 20 years & the repairs have held up very well.  It also has a good bit of darkening to the white areas. And the brass flip top lid has several small dents & does not completely go all the way closed. Almost but not quite. It does have a lot of character though & I have tried to reflect all of its flaws with my pricing. The printing on the bottom appears to say " Utilities Specialties Co Inc". And a address number that I can't make out followed by " N.  Vorst St", then something else I can't make out " something City, N.J." Sugar bowl measures approximately 5 and a half inches in diameter & is about 3 and a half inches high. Yes, this sugar bowl has its share of flaws but still has some charm, especially if your kitchen is decorated with a farmhouse style. It is going to have to be shipped in a medium sized flat rate Priority Mail box to allow space for bubble wrap & other packing materials & the postal rates have gone so high now that it's ridiculous.   Medium size flat rate Priority Mail boxes are now , and there's not much I can do about that highway robbery, but I am only charging exactly what it costs to ship it.
