Vintage 1937 White Bear Yacht Club Demitasse Cup & Saucer - Syracuse China

Description

This is a Vintage White Bear Yacht Club Demitasse Cup and Saucer, made by Syracuse China.
They are the Econo-Rim brand, and the code 6 R, on the back of the saucer, indicates it was manufactured in June of 1937.
Both the cup and saucer are white with blue ring and the White Bear Yacht Club Logo.
Originally founded in 1889 as a sailing club, the Yacht Club added a 9 hole golf course in 1912, and it was redesigned and expanded to 18 holes in 1915.
The Cup measures approximately 2 3/8" tall, and 2 5/8" diameter at the mouth.
The Saucer is 4 1/2" diameter.
