This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual vintage postcard is the photo portrait of a delightful Springer Spaniel and a toddler...a little boy.  Under the photo is a message in Dutch and a Happy New Year greeting.   On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands and a 1943 faded postmark.
Measurements are approximately:  3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard. Aside from some  signs of surface wear (mostly around the perimeter),  this postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
