    Description

    In the early 1980's when bears were becoming very popular, Raikes decided to use his wood carving talents and make a very different type of bear. His bears were mohair, like the other artist bears, but had the added feature of a hand-carved, wooden face. The wooden face brings a whole different perspective to the look and expression of a bear.
    These Vintage Robert Raikes Rabbit The Hopkins Wooden Bunny Man and Woman are signed on the bottom feet  and numbered: male 1255/10000 Female 368 /10000---very low & desirable numbers.
    These are DETAILED, wooden and highly collectible. The bunnies are approx. 11 ½” tall. the bunnies reveal fuzzy plush legs above the wooden feet. Lady bunny has wooden eggs in her woven basket
    They are in very good (displayed in the shop) condition along with the signed stand and fence. The stand is approximately 11.25" x 8".
