Description
My family visited The Nut Tree from the late 1930s until it closed in the 1990s on a regular basis. (We lived in the neighboring county.) We often spent the day there - riding the train, shopping in the "nice" store, picking up a prize in the toy store, and eating lunch or dinner.Whenever they had a new postcard, my family would often pick up a couple to send to out-of-state family members. I've been going through some old family things and stumbled upon a handful of
very rare
postcards. (
I've got my own Nut Tree collection, and I've only seen 1 or 2 of most of these over the past 40 years!
)
