Lemang
- Rice cooked in Bamboo. The rice will have a nice, fresh, smell of the bamboo and it is flavored lightly so to be able to eat on its own or with other dishes. It is sometimes a stand alone dish enjoyed like tea time cakes
Ketupat
- Rice Cooked in Mengkuang leaves. It carries the faint smell of the leaves and it smells fresh, wild and with a hint of the dew of the day. It is usually cut up and eaten with ‘satay' or other dishes like meat rendang, etc.
