HINA Doll Japanese Antique Gofun Silk Emperor Empress Samurai Geisha Kimono.
For sale is a Japanese MEIJI ERA (1868-1912) handmade HINA doll. In very good displayable condition.
The hand painted Empress doll including the crown and stand is about 8” tall.
One or both of the handmade HINA doll(s) has loose strings, small marks, a hole(s), nick(s), wear, dust, etc.
The embroidered kimono is handmade from silk and paper. The stands are handmade wood and silk.
The doll heads, hands and feet are handmade from wood, gofun and silk. The glass eyes are inlaid.
