This listing is for a wonderful vintage advertising booklet for NEENAH PAPER featuring three reproduced stained glass appearing pieces by artist KINUKO CRAFT.
Booklet is dated 1982. It is titled "The Light Fantastic".
Per the cover page...The three pieces of "stained glass" art reproduced in this book are the work of contemporary illustrator Kinuko Craft. Executed in watercolor with acetate overlays to suggest the dimension of leading, these pieces successfully demonstrate the translucent quality of Neenah Paper's UV Ultra II. Though not entirely glass-like in its transparency, this sheet accepts a variety of printing techniques and allows a sufficient amount of show-through to stimulate the imagination of artists and designer and provides a third dimension for unusual graphic interpretations. The three pieces of art depicted are a mythological scene, a revival scene and a Big Top circus scene. If you desire these pieces are designed to be removed from the book for display either framed or hung on a window providing the illusion of stained glass.
