1961 U.S. ROCKET MAIL sheet
Single stamps of this design were used mail during US-MEXICO and return trip rocket flights of July 2, 1961.
Rocket tests commemorated the 25th anniversary of the historic 1936 flights.
Tests conducted by American Legion Post 37 of McAllen Texas.
Perforated sheet of 8 stamps is in very good condition.
